Oxylabs is one of the top-tier enterprise proxy operators, with particular strength in bundled data products (SERP API, E-Commerce Scraper API, their Web Unblocker suite) layered on top of a large proxy pool. If you're buying "scraping-as-a-service" rather than raw proxy bandwidth, Oxylabs is often the right answer.

Proxaro sells raw US-only rotation and ASN-pinned access. We don't compete with Oxylabs' data products; if you need a turnkey SERP API, buy theirs.

Data-product bundles

If you want a SERP-monitoring workflow where the vendor handles request construction, parsing, proxy rotation, and captcha solving, Oxylabs' SERP API is probably your answer. Proxaro doesn't offer that; we'd send you to build it yourself on top of our proxy pool.

Same for E-Commerce scraping — Oxylabs has product-listing page extractors for Amazon, Walmart, and a dozen others, packaged as a managed API. If you need that managed layer, use theirs.

Global residential

Oxylabs' residential pool covers 195+ countries. If your workload needs UK, Germany, or Japan residential rotation alongside US, Oxylabs is the single-vendor answer. Proxaro only serves the US.

Enterprise compliance

Oxylabs holds ISO 27001 and SOC 2 Type II certifications, plus published transparency reports. Enterprise procurement processes that require specific compliance artifacts clear Oxylabs faster than they clear Proxaro.

Pool scale

For workloads that need aggressive concurrency at high volume — tens of thousands of requests per minute — Oxylabs' pool depth supports that cleanly. Proxaro's US-only curated pool is meaningfully smaller.

US residential at mid-market price

For US-only residential workloads in the 30-150 GB/month range, Proxaro's Coast plan at $149 is meaningfully cheaper than Oxylabs' equivalent US-only cost. At the $500-1000 monthly spend level, the gap narrows; at $5k+/mo, Oxylabs' enterprise discounts kick in and the comparison shifts.

DMA-aware targeting

Proxaro's DMA-aware API is a first-class targeting primitive (X-PX-Dma: 602 for Chicago). Oxylabs supports city targeting but DMA-specific rotation is not a native API parameter — you'd have to maintain your own ZIP-to-DMA map.

For ad verification, brand-safety monitoring, or any workflow where DMA accuracy matters, that's a meaningful operational difference.

Per-carrier ASN selection

Proxaro publishes the specific carrier ASNs in our pool (Comcast AS7922, Spectrum AS20115 / AS11427, Cox AS22773, etc.) and lets you pin to a specific ASN via X-PX-Asn. Oxylabs supports ASN targeting but doesn't commit to the specific ASNs in their pool composition — it's more of a "we pass through traffic on these ASNs, not exclusively from them" situation.

For workloads where the ASN match is load-bearing — e.g., retail fraud-stacks that distinguish Comcast from Spectrum — our explicit ASN guarantee is more reliable.

US-specific content and support

Our state and city landing pages, plus our pillar guide, document the US network specifically. Oxylabs' docs are global-first and don't reach the same level of US-specific detail.

Support is operators who live inside the US carrier map. We'll tell you what a Spectrum AS11427 prefix looks like on the wire because we route them daily.

When to choose which

Choose Oxylabs if:

• Your workload spans multiple countries or requires non-US residential.

Choose Proxaro if:

• Your workload is US-only residential.
• You need explicit per-ASN pinning — you care that the exit specifically announces from Comcast AS7922, not "some US residential."
• DMA-aware rotation matters to you (ad verification, SERP tracking, DTC brand-safety).
• You're spending $150–$2k/month on US residential and want transparent mid-market pricing.
• You want to talk to engineers, not ticket queues.

Migration notes

Migrating from Oxylabs to Proxaro:

• API translation. Our header-based API is a subset of Oxylabs' query-string style; most workloads migrate in a morning.
• Endpoint. Single gateway at gateway.proxaro.io:7777 vs Oxylabs' per-country endpoints.
• Session semantics. 60-min sticky residential on both (sane honest figure), per-request rotation on both.
• City / DMA targeting. Where you used Oxylabs' city parameter for US targeting, either use X-PX-City or upgrade to X-PX-Dma for DMA-resolution. Our state pages list the DMA-city mappings.
